An entertaining weekend began with a team building bowling party on Friday night. The late night didn't seem to bother the girls, as they hosted the Wilmot Wolverines on Saturday afternoon at The RBC Center.
The Lady Sting would score in the first period. On the powerplay, at 5:50 in the first, Hannah Thompson would give the locals the lead. With only 2:36 to play in the period, Tori Iacobelli put one past the Wilmot goalie, assisting was Lindsey Barwitzki. Consensus from the coaching staff would state, " Wilmot is a complete team, and will be the team to beat, as the season progresses".

On Sunday morning, the Windsor Wildcats visited the RBC Center. Sitting at the bottom of the division, the Wildcats offered some strong competition.
Early in the first period, Tori Iacobelli appeared to have scored, however the officials waved it off. Jadyn Clark had many scoring opportunities, and Peri Wilson was denied on a breakaway, by a solid Windsor goalie. Scoring for the Lady Sting, was Brooke Lauwers, unassisted at 9:01 of the third period.
The Sarnia coaching staff had a game plan, and "executed what they practiced earlier in the week", said Chad Williams.
