Petrolia Squires Took a 9 - 1 beating Against Tavistock

Petrolia, On - The wheels fell off the bus in Friday's game as the Petrolia Squires allowed the Tavistock Royals to score six goals in the first period and then the Royals added another three in the third. 


The Squires lone goal came in the second period with Aaron Schieman scoring his first goal of the season. 


For Tavistock, Greg Virgo accumulated five points in the game with four goals and one assist.  Tyler Townsend added three goals with singles by Cody Hall and Reid Yantzi.


Tavistock outshot the Squires 39 - 33.


Petrolia went 0 for 4 in penalty opportunities, Tavistock went 3 for 10.  The Squires took a total of 46 minutes in penalties on 25 infractions, Tavistock took 35 minutes on 12 infractions.


On Saturday the Squires bounced back and took a 4 - 3 win on the road in Milverton against the 4WheelDrives.  (game information not available at time of posting)
