Sarnia Lambton Sports Hall of Fame 2012 Inductees

Camlachie, On - The Sarnia Lambton Sports Hall of Fame held it's 30th Annual Induction Dinner and Ceremony on Saturday September 29.

This year eight sports athletes and enthusiast and one team were inducted. 


 Receiving the Amateur Sport Award were Kelly Doohan and Bill Abbott Jr.  Lawrence "Bill" Leneve was the recipient of the Earl MacKenzie Award (posthumous).  Jake Van Rooyen received the Builder Award.  Sippie Scholtens and Paul Augustine were presented the Special Achievement Award.  Charlie Barclay was the Bud Morrison Award Winner and in the Professional category Professional race car driver Dave Whitlock was enshrined. The Team award went to the 2002 Alvinston Indians. Jorge de Guzman received the Rose Hodgson Memorial Award. The Joe DeRush Memorial Award was presented to Jarret Dark. The Ralph "Pappy" Burr Scholarships went to Chantal Bourassa and Valerie Spano.
