Lambton Jr Sting AAA Bantams were Perfect at Alliance Showcase

Komoka, On - The Lambton Major Bantams was the only team to go undefeated at the Alliance showcase weekend.  The team now leads the league with a 7 - 1 - 1 record.

In game one on Friday Lambton defeated Kitchener by a score of
4 - 1.  Alex Dekoning scored two goals in the win with singles by Ethan Dupont and Curtis Helps.  Dekoning earned three points in the game with his two goals and a assit.  Noah Tooke and Eric Marsh earch earned single points for assists.

On Saturday Lambton went up against the Cambridge Hawks and won with a final score of 3 - 1.  Scoring for the Jr. Sting were Issac McLean, Noah Tooke and Alec Dekoning.  Assisting on the goals were Brock Perry with 2 and singles by Franco Sproviero and Bryon Monague-Ruzik.

In their second game on Saturday Lambton took a close 3 - 2 win over the Waterloo Wolves.  Ethan Dupont scored a pair of goals and Eric Marsh scored one.  Dawson Vautour assisted on two of the goals and Isaac McLean, Noah Tooke and Franco Sproviero earned single points for assisting.

On Sunday in the final game of the weekend Lambton shut out Brantford 2 - 0 to give them the perfect 4 - 0 record for the weekend.  Brett Barnes and Bryon Monaque-Ruzik scored for the Jr Sting.  Barnes also was credited with an assist along with Alex submitted photo

Dekoning, Brook Perry and Noah Tooke. 

Net minder Anthony Hurtubise saw action in all games earning the wins including the shut out on the weekend. Netminder Kaden Fulcher was out with due to injuries.

The Major Bantams are back in action on Saturday October 6 when they host the Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs at the RBC Centre at 1:30pm.
