Minor Atom
Minor Atoms lost a close one to Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs GAME HIGHLIGHTS

Major Atom
The Jr. Sting took a pair of losses over the Thanksgiving weekend.  In their first game they were crushed by the Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs on home ice that ended in a 12 - 1 loss.  The Atom's hosted the Brantford 99ers on Sunday  and lost with a final score of 5 - 2.


Minor Peewee
The Minor Peewee won both of their games on the weekend with the first in Brantford taking a 6 - 3 win over the 99ers.  At home on Sunday the Jr. Sting hosted the Windsor Jr Spirtfires and won 5 - 2.

Major Peewee
The Major Midget participated in the Hamilton Huskies Tim Hortons Tournament over the Thanksgiving weekend and went 2 - 1 - 0.  In their first game they were defeated by the Sudbury Nickel City Sons (eventual tournament winners) by a score of 6 - 1.  In the second game they defeated the Ottawa Senators by a final score of 5 - 2.  In game three they went up against league rivals Huron-Perth Lakers and lost 3 - 1 and in the final game they took a 5 - 1 win over the Rochester Monarchs.  The Jr. Sting place third in their division and were eliminated from the tournament.
 

Minor Bantam
The Minor Bantams took a pair of losses on the road.  First game was in Sun County against the Panthers that ended with a final score of 4 - 0.  Game two was in Windsor where the Jr Sting came up short taking a 5 - 2 loss.

Major Bantams
The Major Bantams hosted the Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs at the RBC centre on Saturday and came from behind to tie with a final score of 2 - 2.  GAME HIGHLIGHTS

Minor Midget
The Minor Midgets took a major blow over the weekend and took a 10 - 0 shutout loss against the Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs in Komoka.  In the second game of the weekend they bounced back from the loss and defeated the Cambridge Hawks 5 - 2 at home.  In the third game in as many days the Jr. Sting hosted the Kitchener Jr Rangers and lost 5 - 3.  The Minor Midgets return to action next weekend when they host the Windsor Jr Spitfires at the RBC Centre on Saturday at 4:00 pm then on Sunday they travel to Essex to face Sun County.

Major Midget
The Major Midget were in Markham over the weekend at the Markham Fall Classic and went 0 - 3 - 1 in tournament play.  In game one they lost to the Wheatfield Blades 4 - 2.  Game two on the same day saw the Upper Canada Cyclones win 4 - 2.  In their third game against Timmins Majors the two teams ended in a 3 - 3 tie.  The last game was against the host team, Markham Majors and the Sting fell 5 - 1.
The Major Midgets are undefeated in league play and return to league action on Saturday when they host the Hamilton Huskies at 2:00 pm at the RBC Centre.  On Sunday the team are on the road to take on the Huron Perth Lakers.
