LSSAA Scores Tuesday October 16

In Junior Girls Soccer semi final action Northern defeated St. Clair in a shut out final of 4 - 0.  Lauren Shaw, Aleah Boersma, Kelly Hodgins and Katrina Barnard scored for the Lady Vikings.  Taelor Koundakjian earned the shutout in net.

In the second semi final of the day St. Christopher took the win over North Lambton with a final score of 3 - 1.  V. Bucci scored 2 goals and C. Forte added a single.  Shayna Kelders scored the lone goal for North Lambton.

Northern and St. Christopher will compete in the finals on Thursday.

In the Junior Boys semi finals North Lambton shut out LCCVI 4 - 0.  Jared McCann led North Lambton in scoring with two goals and singles goals were scored by Mike Bos and Steven Van Den Heuvel.  Jack Thomas earned the shutout in net.

In the other semi finals St. Christopher defeated SCITS with a final score of 5 - 1.

North Lambton and St. Christopher will battle for the LSSAA Jr title also being played on Thursday.

The Junior Finals are set to be played on Thursday October 18 with both games starting at 3:30 pm.  The Girls finals will be played at Northern and the boys final be played at St. Christophers.

In regular season action St. Clair defeated SCITS 48 - 6.  Morgan Campbell led the Colts with a toal of 13 points in the game.  Ashley Elipani scored 8 and shelby Bigras scored 6.  Scoring for SCITS with 2 points each were Tianna Plain, Jessica Peters and Carrie Plain.

St. Clair came out on top in the Senior Girls Baskeball matchup with a final score of 40 - 12.  Madisyn Campbell scored 12 points for the Lady Colts and high point scorer for SCITS was J. Lafaive.

In other senior girls action St Christopher defeated LCCVI in Petrolia with a score of 48-18.

St. Patrick's defeated St. Francois-Xavier 2 games to 1 in regular season senior boys volleyball.  Andrew Haight earned Play of the Match for St. Patrick's and Pom Koen Gendron earned the Player of the Match for St. Francois-Xavier.
