Lambton AAA Minor Bantams lost the lead allowing 4 unanswered goals

In a must win game for the Lambton Sting Minor Bantam AAA the boys were beat 5-2 by the Chatham Cyclones.   The Sting led 2-1 heading in to third on goals from Franco Sproviero and Brett Barnes, with assist going to Sproiviero , Marks and Greenaway. But the team could not hold onto the lead . Chatham outworked the Sting in the third period by scoring 4 unanaswered goals to ice the game. The Jr Sting were short players and called upon two AP Players from Petrolia, Curtis Helps and Eric Marsh who put in good effort.

The Minor Bantams have some tough competition coming up as they take on the top three teams in the League this weekend and next.  First up they are in action on Sunday Jan 8 when they travel to Windsor to take on the 2nd place Windsor Jr. Spitfires. The  following weekend they host the top team the London Jr Knights on Saturday Jan 14 at 4:45 at the RBC Centre and back the next day at the RBC for a 2:00 pm start against 3rd place Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs.  Currently the Lambton Jr Sting are sitting in 5th spot in the West Division, Chatham holds onto 4th.
