first
tournament
this
past
weekend
at the
Brantford
CYO
Girls
22nd
Annual
Tournament.
The team
has made
a great
improvement
as last
year
they
entered
and lost
every
game.
This
year
however,
the team
won
their
pool by
defeating
Hamilton
Graszat
45-11,
Cambridge
Centaurs
by a
score of
62-21
and
Milton
Stag
40-17.
Valhalla's
only
loss
lost a
tough
one to
the
London
86'ers
in the
semi
final:
45-36,
after
which
they
played
for
Bronze.
They
defeated
Cambridge
again, a
bit more
modestly
this
time by
a score
of 43-28
to bring
home the
Bronze.
