Schofield Rolls Perfect Game with 805 Triple

                Kevin Schofield is the first person to roll a perfect game in the 2012-2013 Sarnia & District 10 – Pin bowling season. He rolled his eighteenth career perfect game at Marcin Bowl in the Monday Night Men’s League. The smooth left handed bowler performed the feat in his last game on lanes 25 & 26. He ended the night with an 805 (226-279-300) triple. It was his sixth career 800 plus triple.

                Other prominent scores from the Monday Night Men’s League were Roy Mezzatesta 709 (269), Kyle Adamson 677 (231-267), Tom Mackie 673 (256), Jim Creasor 666 (246-235), Mario Gonzalez 659 (266), George Rogers 659 and Jean Guy Morin 234.                Ralph MacDuff rolled 295 in Marcin Sunday Morning Men’s League competition. After eleven strikes in a row, he came up high on his last ball, only to experience the disappointment of missing the perfect game.                 In the Hiway Bantams division, the girl’s best scores were Laurianne Tremblay 130 (55) and Elsa McKinley 113. On the boy’s side, Bryce Watson was tops with 315 (109-107).

                In the Hiway Bumpers division, the girl’s high scores were Tyleigh Winger 161 (94) and Shaylyn Blake 157 (99). Jake Coggins was top roller for the boys with 159 (83).

                In the Hiway Senior Preps division, the upper scores were Cole Barber 475 (163) and Nick Lapointe 424 (188).

                In the Hiway Junior division, the boy’s top scores were Domenic Cocozzoli 425 (152), Ben Lapointe 415 (169) and Joel Graham with a 165 single. The girl’s noted scores were Taelor Koundakjian 390 (150-148) and Isadora Tremblay 351.

                In the Hiway Intermediate division, Seth Hicks was high for the boys with 449 (171). Lorren Cook was tops for the girls with 540 (191-188).

                In the Hiway Senior division, the notable scores were Brett Zevenbergen 494 (186) and Alex Pak 410 (159).

                In the Marcin SMAA Junior Bantams division, the top girl was Mya Handley with 147 (75). The boy’s high roller was Brett Banninga 155 (79).

                In the Marcin SMAA Senior Bantams division, the girl’s best score 242 (92) belonged to Paige Jean. On the boy’s side, Ryan Gruben 326 (119) and Jordan Button 219 (99) were the top hurlers.

                In the Marcin SMAA Preps division, the girl’s leading scores were Morgan Pelkie 350 (126), Hollie-Anne Jean 334 (124) and Madison Kehler with a 113 single game. The boy’s noted scores were Ethan Boucher 383 (156), Jacob Bestard 374 (143) and Jarod Pelkie’s 127 single.

                In the Marcin SMAA Juniors division, the girl’s notable scores were Madison Vaillancourt 462 (161-161) and Kira Pelkie 427 (167). Tyler Edwards was the boy’s high bowler with 625 (203 and an excellent 255).

                In the Marcin SMAA Majors division, the ladies high score was Rachel McGrath 621 (208-219). The gents leading scores were Sheldon Hayward 587 (233), Daniel Carter 553 (214), P J Loosemore 539 (a super 252 – 112 pins over average) and Ryan Kleinsmith 213 (82 pins over average). 

                In Marcin Thursday Night Mixed League fun, the ladies top scores were Pam Marciniszyn 666 (228-248), Marsha Pinel 567 (228), Sue Gibb 194 and Denise Harrington 183. On the gentlemen’s side, high scores were Adam Pinel 635 (237-220), Mike Vail 612 (245), Pat McMillan 244 and Buck McIver 226.                 In Marcin Ontario Hydro Mixed League activity, the top lady shooters were Barb Montgomery 503 (191), Alyssa Taylor 477 (188), Bonnie VanGrimberghe 469 (204) and Annette Urban 468 (186). Marcel Lajoie was high for the men with 627 (278). Jason Armitage added a 212 single.
