Belle River, ON - The Mooretown Flags took a 4 - 2 loss against the Belle River Canadiens in Great Lakes Jr C Hockey League action.

Belle River took a 3 - 0 lead in the second with a single goal in the first period and added two more in the second before the Flags answered with a single at 15:48 by Matt Brandon assisted by Mike Burns and Jordan Orth.  In the third period Belle River scored their final goal at 8:49 and Riley Roberts added the Flags second and final  goal of the game at 9:38. 

Mooretown is back in action Saturday in Mooretown host to the Wallaceburg Lakers.  Game time is at 7:30pm at the Moore Sports Recreation Center.
