The Lambton Jr. Sting Major Midget AAA team hosted the Brantford 99'ers on Sunday and came out strong to take a 3 - 0 shut out win.

Forward David Velux put Sarnia on the board in the first period with assists from Mac Colasimone and Kraig Durco. Sarnia played strong and added two more goals from Kraig Durco, with assists going to Brent Blais and Ryan Lyle. Sarnia managed to keep Brantford off the score board with strong goal tending by Kent Taylor and Kevin Latowicz.

Sarnia is undefeated in exhibition play this season with two strong wins against the London Jr. Knights in London last week.  This coming weekend exhibition continues with games in Brantford and Windsor. 

Season and home opener is set for Sat Sept 22 when they host Cambridge Hawks at 3:30 and on Sunday September 23 the Jr Sting will host Waterloo also at 3:30pm on RBC1.
