The Lambton AAA Minor Midget team were on the ice over on Saturday and Sunday and was host to a series of exhibition games that included teams from the US and Canada that included the Oakland Grizzlies, Detroit Compuware,  Michigan Nationals and a team from Mississauga.

"It's was a great weekend to see how the team played." Lambton Head Coach Jeff Perry said "This is the first time our guys have been together as a team.  I was pretty happy with what I saw since we haven't even started our practices yet.  It was a good start to see what we have to work on for the upcoming season."

The Lambton AAA Minor Midgets season begins on September 5th when they travel to Toronto to compete in the Toronto Titans Tournament..  Lambton's league season opener is on the road in Stratford on Friday September 13 against Huron Perth and then return home on Sunday September 15th for their home opener at the RBC at 1:00 pm against the Brantford 99ers.
