Sarnia Sting 2013 Camp at RBCOn Saturday the Sarnia Sting held their mini camp for all 96s, 97s & Free Agent Invitees. The camp was split into two teams (Black & White)After on ice sessions and workout session the teams met for an inter-squad scrimmage.
After the first period Team Black took a 5 - 4 lead. Team White tied the game at 5 in the second period and in the third both sides shared goals before Team Black took the lead and held on for the 7 - 6 win.

Scoring for Team Black were Connor Schlichting (3rd round/13) , Zachary Core (11th round/12), Brett Hargrave (1st round/12) who took a pass from Free Agent PJ Vandervaart (Sarnia Legionniares 2012-13), Brody Stevens (9th round/13), Cam Ashley (9th round/12), Vladislav Kodola (1st round/13) and Free Agent Maxim Choquette (Casselman EOJHL).
Nikita Korostelev (1st round/12) led Team White with two goals and an assist and singles by Free Agent Derek Elliot (Wingham WJCHL), Jeff King (10th round/12), Matteo Ciccarelli (5th round/12) and Ryan Venramin (13th round/12).
On Sunday all players will be reporting for a player's meeting and fitness testing. The main camp will begin on Monday with scrimmages set for 10:00 am and 4:30 pm. Final scrimmage is set for Tuesday at 10:00 am and in the evening at 7:00 pm the annual Black and White game will be played. Admission is a $2.00 donation with all proceeds going to the United Way.
