LCCVI and Northern Win in LSSAA Boys Hockey

In LSSAA Boys hockey action on Wednesday the LCCVI Lancers defeated the North Lambton Eagles 4 - 1 at the Greenwood Recreation Centre on Wednesday afternoon.
Taylor Oke scored the first goal for the Lancers at 8:34 on a power play with Mitch Wilson and Ryan Woods earning the assist. At 14:04 Brandon Li scored the second goal from Hunter Bryce to give LCCVI a 2 - 0 lead heading into the second period. Eric Marsh scored the only goal in the second period for LCCVI unassisted at 2:15. The fourth goal for LCCVI came at 3:05 in the third with Isaac McLean scoring then at 11:13 Bryon Ruzik-Monague denied LCCVI netminder Cam MacAlpine a shut out bid by scoring the lone goal for the Eagles. Dustin Rombouts earned the assist on the play.
In other boys hockey action on Wednesday the Northern Vikings edged out St. Pat's Irish with a final score of 3 - 2. Max Stevens, Dillon Saunders and Kyle Adams scored for the Vikings. Earning assists on the goals were Blaine Adams, Matt Day, Ben Garrett and Mitch Pageau-DeRush. Alec DeKoning, and Nick VanBilsen scored for St. Pat's with assists by Connor Coopman, Matt Stevens, Brent Blaise and Bert Thorpe.
