Rob Vandermeer, Dave Jones and Brian Watson led the way on the lanes this week in Lambton County Tenpin Association bowling action as they recorded the top scores at Marcin Bowl.

Vandermeer tossed his personal best high triple 791 (280-266-245) on lanes 21 & 22 in the Triple A Mixed League to record the men’s high triple.

Jones fired his personal best high single 299 (99 pins over average) in his first game leaving the uncooperative 4 pin on his last shot. He was participating in the Triple A Mixed League on lanes 17 & 18 and finished the night with a 712 triple. 

Watson rolled 299 in his second game leaving a solid 10 pin. He was bowling on lanes 27 & 28 in the Monday Night Men’s League and finished the night with 746 (251).

Pam Marciniszyn tossed 701 (257-259) in the Marcin Thursday Night Mixed League to record the women’s high triple.

Jim Lapointe wheeled 728 (258-269) in Marcin Thursday Night Men’s League combat. He was chased by Larry Plumb 725 (232-280), Alex Matena 684 (268), Mel Matthews 660, Kevin Herron 654 (245), Peter MacRae 650, Gerry Landon 644 (257), Shawn Cotterill 256, Bill Best 245 and  Dave Bruder 243. In Airey Lanes Sunday Night Mixed League fun, the women’s scores from a makeup week were Michelle Fraser 557 (182-212), Pam Bullock 453 (175) and Bev Rankin 186. The men’s top scores were Wayne Rankin 529 (193), Ralph Noyle 508, Terry Bradburn 503 (210) and Ken McLeod 190. This week, the ladies best bowler was Marilyn Mullen with 523 (218). The gentlemen’s high scores were Ken McLeod 511 (180), Dick Swain 509 (204) and Terry Bradburn 499 (183). In Marcin Sunday Morning Ladies League play, leading scores were Sandra Paluch 529 (245 - 105 pins over average), Brenda Dennis 501 (200), Michelle Fraser 473 (181), Cheryl Millar 465 (174) and Lorene Oakes 182. In Marcin Monday Morning Ladies League action, the top rollers were Kerri Shively 520 (175-177), Mary Ann Riley 447 (165), Heather Paine 159, Ev White 155 and Mary Ann Sowinski 154.

In the Hi-Way Youth League Senior division, Cassandra Tremblay took care of the women’s high scores with 338 (128-124). The gents’ top wheelers were Brett Zevenbergen 586 (216), Alex Pak 494 (193) and Connor Smith 411.

In the Hi-Way Youth League Intermediate division, Taelor Koundakjian was the girl’s top roller with 314 (144). The boys’ best scores were Aidan Coleman 457 (181) and Colton Smith 400 (148).

In the Hi-Way Youth League Junior division, the girls’ main scores were Shayla Crouse 355 (144-123), Isadora Tremblay 310 and Kaela Koundakjian 290 (122). The boys’ high shooters were Ben Lapointe 529 (191-186), Tyler Hoadley 498 (186) and Dalton Crowe 444.

In the Hi-Way Youth League Senior Preps division, the girls’ top bowler was Katarena Vandeguchte 320 (119-118).  On the boys’ side, high wheelers were Nic Peckham 462 (176) and Cole Barber 368 (160).

In the Hi-Way Youth League Junior Preps division, the girls’ noted scores were Lyndsay Amerlinck 284 (136), MacKayla Beauvais 245 (86-82) and Amber Watson 173. The boys’ upper scores were Brodie McKinley 315 (117-112), Gavin Baillie 313 (117-110), Riley Wagner-Gosselin 256 and Nick Coggins 245.

In the Hi-Way Youth League Bantams division, the girls’ high scores were Tyleigh Winger 231 (88-88), Laurianne Tremblay 225 (88-84), Kyleigh Beauvais Chad 179 and Elsa McKinley 176.
