Jason Armitage Rolls His First 300

Jason Armitage had a double thrill in Ontario Hydro Mixed League bowling action on Friday night at Marcin Bowl. He tossed his first 300 game (121 pins over average) in his second game on lanes 35 & 36. He ended the night with a 728 (224) triple which also happened to be his first 700 series. His perfect game was the high single in Lambton County Tenpin Association bowling action this week.

George Reid fired 780 (269-244-267) in the Sunday Morning Men’s League at Marcin Bowl to record the week’s high triple.

Pam Marcin continued her strong bowling with 652 (235) in the Thursday Night Mixed League at Marcin Bowl to record the women’s high triple. She has now averaged 237 in her last eight weeks of bowling. 

Additional men’s scores from the Ontario Hydro Mixed League were Dave Urban 645 (226-224), Ray Lucas 613 (217-227), Dave Little 236, Marcel Lajoie 222, Richard Murphy 214 and Jay Legay 202. In Marcin Sarnia Reserve Mixed League activity, the women’s high scores were Jo Ellen Beveridge 569 (191-199), Tracy George 488, Dorothy Plain 179 and Annette George 176. On the gents’ side, the best scores were Matt Isaac 583 (222-210), Angie Delassandro 532 (198-189) and Brian Jacobs 190.

In Marcin Monday Morning Ladies League action, leading scores were Helen Spiers 487 (178), Maddy Ayers 468 (173), Mary Ann Riley 464 (163) and Jan Worsley 425 (161).

In the Hi-Way youth Intermediate division, the girls’ high scores were Bailey Ettinger 431 (189), Lorren Cook 413 (155) and Cassandra Tremblay 398 (144). The boys’ top shooter was Seth Hicks with 330 (116-114).

In the Hi-Way Junior division, Isadora Tremblay was the girls’ high roller with 347 (125). The boys’ noted scores were Kolton Pembleton 380 (144), Cameron Verberg-Buchan 336 (136) and Tyler Hoadley 322 (140).

In the Hi-Way Senior Preps division, the girls’ notable scores were Shayla Crouse 366 (145-131) and Katarena Vandeguchte 304 (113). The boys’ upper scores were Cole Barber 380 (145-122) and Nic Peckham 290 (118).  

In the Hi-Way Junior Preps division, the girls’ high bowler was MacKayla Beauvais with 201 (76-71). The boys’ best scores were Brodie McKinley 319 (109), Chad Crouse 311 (119), Gavin Baillie 288 (120) and William LaFramboise 242.

In the Hi-Way Bantams division, the girls’ top scores were Laurianne Tremblay 198 (87), Kyleigh Beauvais 123 (55) and Mikayla Gobits 120 (55). On the boys’ side, high shooters were Alex Majewski 241 (99), Nick Coggins 215 (80) and Ben Boult 183.

In the Hi-Way Bumpers division but no bumpers used, top scores were Tyleigh Winger 139 (55-50) and Shaylyn Blake’s 31 single.

In the Marcin SMAA Majors division, the gents’ leading scores were Jordan Croskery 677 (236-236), Travis Tetreault 525 (214), Keegan Vaillancourt 229, Ryan Kleinsmith 193, Sheldon Hayward 191 and Brian Riberdy 181. The ladies’ upper scores were Lauren Kleinsmith 478, Jessica Tetreault 477 (195), Carrie Plain 472 (167) and Corrie Plain 168.

In the Marcin SMAA Juniors division, the girls’ best scores were Kira Pelkie 496 (204), Laura Kameka 446 (174), Madison Vaillancourt 457 and Nicole Emery 420 (171).  The boys’ upper scores were Dirk Popen 448 (166-152), Maximillian Michelucci 410 (146), Lucas Pawley 385 (141) and Branden Riberdy’s 141 single. 

In the Marcin SMAA Senior Bantams division, the girls’ top scores were Paige Jean 228 (85) and Skylar Thompson 181 (75). The boys’ high scores were Ryan Gruben 356 (147) and Ryan Pinel 261 (108).
