Lambton Shores Edged out by LaSalle

LaSalle, On; Lambton Shores were edged out with a finals score of 2 - 1 against the LaSalle Vipers Wednesday night in Greater Ontario Jr B Hockey League action.

 

Both sides went scoreless in the first two periods and at 3:50 Adam Arseneault scored a power play goal to put the Predators up by one.  Kyle Brothers and Brett Thompson assisted on the goal.  LaSalle didn't answer back until 13:10 when Eric Noel scored on the power play to equal the score.  As regulation time was closing in,  LaSalle's Brad Carroll scored the winning goal with just :25 seconds left in the game.

 

LaSalle outshot Lambton Shores 25 - 22.  Taylor Speed earned the win in net for the Vipers, Brandon Johnson took the loss.

Both teams went one for five on power play opportunities.

 

Lambton Shores remains in eighth place in the Western Conference.  The Predators have five regular season games remaining and on Sat February 16 they host Leamington at 7:30 at the Shores Recreation Centre.
