The Sarnia Legionnaires took a blow on Sunday night in Leamington losing to the Flyers 6 - 0.
The Flyers scored two goals in the first, three in the second and a single in the third. Kyle Shaw and Myles Doan each scored two goals in the win and singles by Tony Spidalieri and Alex Sequin.
Leamington out shot the Legionnaires by a huge margin of 61 - 22. Taking the brunt of those shots and the loss in net was Sean Parker who despite the loss made 55 saves in the game. Austyn Roudebush earned the win with 22 saves.
Leamington scored twice on four power play opportunities. Sarnia went scoreless on four.
Sarnia is back in action for their last home game of the regular season on Thursday Feb 21 with a game start at 7:10 pm.
Thursday game is Fan Appreciation night also FREE admission to public school age children.
