The Minor Peewees entered into a best of five playdown series against the the London Jr Knights and were eliminated in three games.
The London Jr Knights led the league overall with a total of 59 points with a record of 28 - 1 - 3 in the regular season. Lambton placed fourth in the West Division, tied for 7th overall in the league with a record of 11 - 17 - 4.
On Saturday for game one of the playdown series Lambton travelled to London and were shut out 8 - 0. London scored five goals in the first period, added two in the second and a single in the third.
The next day for game two Lambton hosted London at the RBC Centre and were shut out 6 - 0 with two goals being scored in each period.
In the third game Lambton were back in London on Family Day. The Jr Knights continued to dominate and defeated the Jr Sting 8 - 2. In the first period London went up 4 - 0 and added four more in the second. Both Jr Sting goals came in the second period. The first goal was scored by Hunter Monkhouse assisted by Cory Smith and the second goal was scored on the power play by Jaxon Shelton with Kyle Kachan and Nolan DeGurse assisting. Lambton held off the London attack in the second and the score remained 8 - 2 at the end of the third.
The Jr. Sting now moves on to a round robin Consolation series. Teams to be determined.
