In their second meeting in as many days in their home-at-home series, the Point Edward Blackhawks tied the North Middlesex Stars 0-0 after taking a 2-1 hit the previous night in Lambton-Middlesex league action.
The first saw play that was back-and-forth with neither goalie seeing a lot of action. At the 5 minute mark of the period, Reinders came up big on a Stars break with two hugh saves. With the period coming to an end the Point had their own big scoring opp when Kennedy had a break but the Stars goalie saved it to keep the period at 0-0.
The second period saw the action remain fast and furious with neither team making any mistakes to be taken advantage of. The Point had one opportunity when the puck scooted across the crease but they couldn’t slam it in.
The third saw action similar to the previous period with neither team giving up any opportunities. Reinders made the key saves when required and helped the Hawks keep the game at 0-0.
