December 16th vs. Middlesex United

Their second match of the day had Sarnia up against the Middlesex United Stingers. Sarnia came out flat and found themselves behind by two goals. Once the dust settled Sarnia began to show their resilience and slowly mounted their comeback. At the final whistle, Sarnia FC had to settle for the tie. January 13th vs. Southwest Eurostars

After a lengthy Christmas lay-off the Sarnia FC boys were very anxious to get back into league play. Their first opponents of the day were the Southwest Eurostars. In their two previous meetings of the season, Sarnia held the advantage with a win and tie. Again the boys would start flat in this early morning competition. The Eurostars would jump out to a two goal lead before Sarnia Striker, Mateo Troiani would place the perfect lob over the Southwest keeper. Unfortunately, the Eurostars would net another goal before Troiani would once again score to keep Sarnia within one. An own goal would later deflate Sarnia spirits as London would close out the game with a 5 - 3 win. Sarnia mid-fielder, Nathan Hawkes would close out the scoring for Sarnia.

Adding Sarnia goals were: James Brown, Cameron Hoek, Christian D'Agostini(2) , and Mateo Troiani. Final Score was : Sarnia FC 5 - Oakridge Thunder 1.
