Adamson and English Roll 300's; Spence's 751 Triple is Tops

Kyle Adamson and Peter English share the high single honours this week as they both fired perfect games in Lambton County Tenpin Association bowling action.

Adamson tossed his gem in the Sunday Morning Men’s League at Marcin Bowl. He rolled his career fifth perfect game in his first game of the day on lanes 21 & 22 and ended the day with 717.

Peter English struck perfection in the Monday Night Men’s League at Marcin Bowl. He tossed his second perfect game (98 pins over average)  in his first game on lanes 33 & 34 and ended the night with 731 (248). His first 300 was bowled at Lake Huron Lanes in 2002.

Bob Spence fired 751 (267-248-236) in the Marcin Monday Night Men’s League to record the high triple of the week.

 Pam Marciniszyn rolled 750 (259-246-245) in the Marcin Thursday Night Mixed League to record the ladies’ high triple. Marciniszyn has bowled remarkable the last six weeks averaging 242 for 18 games. In that stretch she has fired four solid 700 triples and is currently averaging 224 for 57 games.

In Marcin Sunday Morning Ladies League fun, high scores were Michelle Fraser 512 (189), Brenda Hawryluk 497, Joy Timington 485, Deb Jones 191 and Shirley Stark 190. In the Marcin SMAA Majors division, the gents’ best scores were Jordan Croskery 617 (256), Keegan Vaillancourt 569 (206-202), Daniel Carter 239, Sheldon Hayward 209 and Matt Disper 192-190. On the ladies side, Bryanne Vaillancourt was the top shooter with 530 (187-178).

In the Marcin SMAA Juniors division, the girls’ upper scores were Kira Pelkie 460 (167), Madison Vaillancourt 429, Samantha Creasor 171, Gillian Webb 169 and Mikayla Durley 166. The boys’ notable scores were Joshua Trott 463 (180), Ryan Carter 434 (157), Tanner Nauta 158 and Craig Machan 153.

In the Marcin SMAA Preps division, the girls’ high rollers were Hollie-Anne Jean 305 (136), Jordann Eaton 268 (112), Rachel Font-Young 115 and Lia Johnson 112.  The boys’ top hurlers were Patrick Cullis 374 (139), Jacob Bestard 370 (129) and Aiden Osborn 343 (123).
