Petrolia Squires Dropped Last Regular Season Game to Komoka

The Petrolia Squires finished their regular season schedule last night in Petrolia and lost to the first place Komoka Classics with a final score of 7 - 4.

Komoka scored three goals in the first, two on power plays, scored one in the second and added three more in the third.  Petrolia scored two in the first and singles in both second and third periods.

Scoring for Komoka were Alex Avery and Dylan Thomas each with two goals and singles by Ryan Fletcher, Josh Cornelisen and Ryan Stephenson.  For Petrolia Tyler Haddon scored Petrolia first goal shorthanded and the remainder were scored by Dan Veenema, Adam McCallum and Rob Vanwynsberghe.

Chris Houle took the loss with twently six saves, Mike Coulter earned the win with thirty nine saves.

The Squires record in the regular season after 24 games played is 13-9-0-2 for twenty eight points.  The Squires hold fifth place in the standings race.  Playoff schedule to be released.
