The Sarnia Sting selected Vladislav Kodola with the 27th pick in the first round of the 2013 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft.

The Belarus Native is 16-years old, 5' 10" 155 lbs played for Severstal Cherepovets last season and recorded 40 points in 28 games. As well at the St. Petersburg Championship in Russia, Kodola recorded 13 points in 12 games.

Kodola was born in October 10th, 1996 and is eligible for the 2015 National Hockey League Draft.

Igor Larionov represents Kodola and highly recommended the player. Larionov is very excited about his future in Sarnia.

Larionov commented “Vladislav is a tremendous talent who will bring a lot to the table in Sarnia.  His main asset is how he thinks the game.  Vladdy is two-three steps ahead of the play at all times.  He is the type of player who makes others around him better.”
