Sarnia Braves Seniors Take Two in Double Header on Canada Day Weekend

In Can Am League basball action, the Sarnia Braves Senior Men's won both games in their double header against the Tecumseh Srs. on Sunday.

In game one the Braves took a 2 - 1 win.  Tecumseh scored the lone run in the first inning.  In the third James Grant single batted in the first run and in the seventh Jeff Randall also his a single to bring in the winning run.

Wade Babula playing in his final game as he is moving out of Province went seven innings earning his final win as a Brave.   He struck out four, walked two and allowed six hits and one run.

In game two Sarnia held on to a 1 - 0 lead after the fourth inning to take the win.  Sarnia only run came after Jeff Randal's hit to Tecumseh 3rd baseman made an error on the play that brought in Alex McLean.

Nick Baljeau went the distance for seven innings allowing two hits and striking out three.
