King's Men FC Shut out Legion FC in Sarnia Men's Industrial Soccer League Action

King's Men FC took a 3 - 0 win over Legion FC in Sarnia Men's Industrial Soccer League action last night at Germain Park. 
 

 

Scoring for King's Men were Zach Smit, Chris Helps and Bryner Toma.  Goaltender Sante Diciantes earned the shut out.

 

 

 

KIng's Men and Legion are new to the league this year and this was the second meeting between the two teams.  In their first game earlier in the season Legion defeated King's Men 2 - 1.

 

King's men are sitting in fifth position with a record of 3 - 7 for a total of 14 points.  Legion is in seventh with a record of 1-8.

 

 

In other Men's soccer action, undefeated Paton Controls shut out MIG 5 - 0.  Jason Irwin led Paton with two goals.  Kerry Joyce, George Stoukas and Scott Devlin each scored singles. Jamie Cahill earned the shutout in net.  Paton Controls is in first place with a record of 8 - 0 for the season.
MIG is in sixth spot with a record of 1-7-1.
 


 

City Centre Car Wash edged out ESSO with a final score of 2 - 1.  Matt Ward and Rob Spadafor scored for City Centre and Kevin Parris scored the lone goal for ESSO.  City Centre Car Wash is now 5-1-1 for the season and are in second place.  ESSO is sitting in third with a record of 5-3-1.
