Sarnia will Host Tri-Bass Association (TBBA) 1st Qualifier at Sarnia Bay Marina

SARNIA, ON – On July14, the 1st of three Qualifiers, for the Tri-Bass Association (TBBA) will take place in Sarnia at the Sarnia Bay Marina. 

 

 “ We are extremely excited about hosting over 75 Teams from TBBA.  This event not only allows us to showcase the Sarnia Bay Marina, but it will also showcase our community,” said Steve Gelinas, Director at the Sarnia Bay Marina.

 

The qualifier will, bring visitors and our residents to the waterfront. Blast off  will start at the Sarnia Bay Launch (Centennial Park) at 7:00am and the Weigh In will take place at 3:30pm. The goal, is to weigh in the largest lunker bass and our area is certainly know for some of the largest smallies in Southwestern, Ontario.  

 

Thus far, the Tri-Bass Association, has approximately 75 teams registered.  To qualify for the TBBA Classic on September 14th at Mitchell’s Bay, each team must at least participate in 2 of the 3 qualifying events being hosted this summer.

 

The 1st qualifier will be take place in Sarnia at Sarnia Bay Marina July 14th, the 2nd will take place in Long Point Bay at Turkey Point  August 11, and the final qualifier will take place on August 25 in Rondeau Bay at Erieau Marnia. 

 

“Lake Huron and the St. Clair River is one of our community's greatest assets and it’s because of this, that we are able to attract these tournaments.
