On Saturday, the Sarnia Braves Rookie Select team ran into a much more experienced and older Squad from Alvinston, coming up short in a 19-12 loss. It was a good measuring stick for the team, as Alvinston brought their "A" players.

Great Defense was played by Shortstop Joseph Malinowski, and Player of the Game Reece Hardick was stellar in sacrificing his body behind the plate as well as at third base.

The Rookie Selects next game is in Wyoming on Monday June 10th at 6:30pm.
