Point Edward Pacers Couldn't Stop the Rebel Attack

The Point Edward Pacers couldn't stop the Six Nations Rebel attack taking a 19 - 7 loss in  Ontario Jr B Lacrosse league action.

Half way through the first period the Pacers and the undefeated Six Nations Rebels were tied 3 - 3.  After that it was all Six Nations and the Pacers couldn't catch up and took a 19 - 7 loss.


Six Nations scored the first three goals in the first period before Kevin Conroy scored back to back goals and Liam Wright scored one.  Six Nations went on a scored six more before the period ended.  Connor Smith added a single after Six Nations' sixth goal and the score was 9 - 4 after one period of play.  In the second period the Rebel scored seven goals, Point Edward could only come up with two Dan Charlton scoring both goals. In the final period Six Nations added three more, Point Edward scored one by Blair McFarlane.

Brayden Bell played the majority of the game in net and Ian Ferguson came in late in the third.  Between the two total shots on goal was 62 with a total of 43 saves.   Chase Martin took the win with a total of 39 shots on goal for 32 saves.
 

Six Nations remain undefeated with a total of 13 wins.  Point Edward is now 4 and 11 with five games remaining in the regular season.  The Pacers are on the road to Hamilton on Fathers day (Sunday June 16) for a 3:00 pm game.  Next home game is on Saturday June 22 at 7:00 pm in Point Edward.
