Point Edward Pacers Bounced Back on Sunday in Hamilton

The Point Edward Pacers bounced back from the 19-7 loss on Saturday and defeated the Hamilton Bengals 9 - 3 in Hamilton.  Hamilton has won only one game in the Jr B Lacrosse South West Division.

The Bengals took a 2 - 1 lead in the first period but the Pacers shut them out in the second with four unanswered goals and went on and scored four more in the third.  Hamilton scored a single in the third period.

Austin Langs led the Pacers with two goals and singles were scored by Dan Charlton, Blair McFarlane,  Ryleigh Taylor, Kevin Conroy, TJ Mara, Ryan Devine and Connor Smith.

Brandon Ames, Thomas Bianchin and Kurt Gibson scored for Hamilton.

Point Edward outshot Hamilton 45 - 36. AP netminder Reece Landeryou earned the win with 33 saves.  Matthew Crocker took the loss with 36 saves.

Point Edward are now 5 - 11 for the season with four games remaining in the regular season.  On Saturday June 22 they host the Spartans at 7:00 pm at the Point Edward Arena.
