Sarnia Braves Went One in One in Sunday's Double Header

In Can Am Senior Men's Baseball league action the Sarnia Braves went one and one in a double header against Tecumseh Juniors in Windsor at Woodslee Park on Sunday.


In the first game of the day the Braves took a beating and lost 12 - 0.



In the second game the Braves edged out Tecumseh 5 - 4.

Pitcher Anthony Shepherd pitched for four innings striking out three allowing three runs, five hits and two walks.  Nick Baljeau went in for the final three innings striking out two and allowing one run and one hit with no walks.


Nick Baljeau batted a home run and a single.  Tyler Young hit a double and Mike Damchuck and Dom Bucci got on base batting singles.


Tecumseh took the lead after the first inning scoring a single run.  In the second and third the Braves scored two runs in each inning and added their final run in the fourth. Tecumseh added a single in the second and fourth inning and scored their final run in the sixth.


Next up the Braves travel to Windsor on Tuesday June 4 to take on the Windsor Selects.  On Sunday June 9th they are back at home when they host the Windsor Stars for a double header starting at 1:00 pm at Errol Russell Park.
