Pacers continue to lose in Jr B Lacrosse

The Point Edward Pacers were back on the road for their second meeting with the London Blue Devils.  The Pacers continue their losing streak with their third loss Wednesday night with a final score of 12 - 7.

 

Point Edward took a 3 - 2 after the first with Blain Adams, Kevin Conry and TJ Mara scoring for the Pacers.

 

In the second London dominated scoring three goals before Dan Charlton scored a shorthanded goal.  London went on and added a shorthand goal late in the period to go up 6 - 4 after two periods of play.

 

In the final period TJ Mara narrowed the gap to one scoring early in the period however London answered back with two quick goals.  The Pacers fought back and Dan Charlton scored Point Edwards 6th goal.  But London would go on and score 4 consecutive goals to up the score to 12.  Late in the game Cory Burr scored the final goal of the game for the Pacers.

 

Point Edward went zero for thirteen on the power play, London went one for eight.

 

Netminder Ian Ferguson suffered his second loss this season,  Kyle Leeming earned the win.

 

Road games continue with game four in Wallaceburg on Monday May 13. They are in Windsor on Wednesday May 15 and Brampton on Saturday May 18.  Their first home game is on Wednesday May 22 when they host Wallaceburg for their home opener at 8:00 pm at the Point Edward Arena.
