The Point Edwards Pacers continue to struggle as their record is now 0 - 4 after losing in Wallaceburg on Monday Night against the Red Devils with a final score of 16 - 12 .
The Pacers took a 6 - 5 lead after the first period, but the Red Devils played havoc and in the second scored 8 goals with Point Edward only scoring 2. In the third Point Edward playing catch up and took a 4 - 3 lead but it wasn't enough and Wallaceburg took the win.
TJ Mara led the Pacers with a total of 4 goals in the game. Dan Charlton scored 3, Liam Wright scored a pair and singles by Blair McFarlane, Kevin Conroy and Ryan Devine.
Scoring for Wallaceburg were Nick Snow with 3, Doug Bennett, Mike Myers, Mitch VanDamme, Joel Shepley and AP Brenden Johnston all score 2 goals. Rounding out the scoring were AP Kyle Dawson, Nate Carroll and Chris Taylor.
The Point Edward Pacers have two more road games with the first on May 15 in Windsor and Sat May 18th in Brampton. Their first home game is set for May 22 against Wallaceburg at the Point Edward Arena with an 8:00 pm game start.
