Vision Hockey 2001 White Denied at Bluewater Sharks Tournament

The Vision Hockey 2001 White team went 2 - 1 - 1 at the Bluewater Sharks Tournament held this past weekend in Sarnia.


In their first game on Friday the 2001 White team went up against the Nations 2001 that ended in a 2 - 2 tie.  Vision took a 1 - 0 lead after the first period with Ayden Letang scoring assisted by Ryen Stevens and Dillan Schives.  In the second Nations 2001 scored back to back goals just :30 seconds apart to take the one goal lead. Scoring continued and :31 seconds later Vision scored for the tie.  Dillan Schives scored his second of the game with Ayden Letang assisting.  Both sides battle back and forth but at the sound of the final buzzer the score remained the same. 


In game two on Friday Vision went up against their host the Bluewater Sharks and took an 8 - 3 win.  After the first period Vision led 3 - 1 then went on and scored 3 goals in the second with the Sharks scoring a single and in the third Vision added 2 more goals with Sharks scoring just 1.   Ryen Stevens led Vison with two goals in the game with singles by Jaxon Shelton, Alex Vanderkaden, Luke Houle, Ayden Letang, Jace Caspi and Alex Bondy.




On Saturday they shut out the Mississauga Tigers with a final score of 4 - 0.  In the first period Vision took a 1 - 0 lead with Ayden Letang scoring.  Second period saw Vision add 2 goals the first by Jordan Daabous and the second by Dillan Schives.  In the final period Letang scored his second goal of the game. 


In the fourth and final game of the tournament Vision White suffered their only loss in the tournament and were defeated by Powertech 5 - 0.



Tristan Clark earned the nod in net for Vision White making many outstanding saves throughout the tournament.
