Razor Claws (Silver) vs Shock Wave (Gold)

Action opened with the Atom Division.  The first place Cupe Local 1238 Razor Claws were victorious over the Lanxess Shock Wave 36-6.  The Razor Claws opened the scoring on a 24 yard dash by Carter Grasse. 

 

 

 

Before halftime their lead was increased to 12-0 following an impressive 41 yard run by Tyler Hopwood.  In the second half Josh Foulis narrowed the gap to 12-6 as he rumbled to pay dirt from 27 yards.  From then on it was all Razor Claws behind 2 majors from Perry Moffatt and single scores by Reilly Dumond and Steven Bolton.

Inferno (Red) vs Iron Hides (Green)
 

The other Atom semi featured the Inferno taking on the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 62 Iron Hides.  Last week these 2 teams battled for second place with the Iron Hides prevailing 12-0.  This day, however, the Inferno came to play.  Between their top ranked defense, the power running of Gage Klyne and the speedy McCabe boys, the Inferno were victorious 30-6. 

 Klyne ran for 2 touchdowns from 2 and 25 yards.  Matthew McCabe counted 2 majors from 8 and 23 yards.  Zachary McCabe also plowed to the end zone from 2 yards out.  Speedy Noah Lester tallied the lone points for the Hides on a 24 yard dash.  The final score was 30-6 for the Inferno.
