Sarnia Sting Win over Windsor

In Windsor The Sarnia Sting edged out the Spitfires 4 – 3 in game one of the home/home exhibition series.
Daniel Nikandrov scored the lone goal in the first period to give the Sting the 1 – 0 lead.
Windsor came back in the second and tied the game on a goal scored by rookie forward Ryan Moore.
Josh Ho-Sang scored just 49 seconds into the third period to give Windsor a 2 – 1 lead. Brett Hargrave tied things at 4:07 only to have Remy Giftopoulos restore the lead for the Spitfires. Anthony DeAngelo scored at 14:33 to tie the game at 3 – 3 and less than a minute later Vladislav Kodola scored the game winner for the Sting.
Justin Fazio got the start for the Sting then later replaced by Knick Dawe.
Sarnia is now 1 - 3 in Exhibition.
Sarnia will host Windsor Saturday night (Sept 7) for game two of the home/home exhibition series. Game time 7:05 at the RBC Centre.
