SkyFire Blue - Storm Grey

 

The PeeWees were in action at Norm Perry Park Tuesday September 9.  In the opener the Rob Simrak Magic Realty SkyFire were victorious over the Purdy Fisheries Storm 8-0 in a very tight defensive battle. 

 

 

The only touchdown of the game occurred late in the first half when speedy Avery Smiley dashed 31 yards around the left end for the SkyFire.  Smiley kicked the convert for an 8-0 lead. 

 

 

This lead held up for the remainder of the game as the defense for each team took over.  Aiden Wildfong made many tackles in leading the stubborn SkyFire defense.  Ethan Kerby was a stalwart on defense for the Storm.
