The WCBA Braves Minor Midgets went 6 - 1 to win the Ontario Baseball Association Championships in Hamilton.

In their first game the Braves defeated Markham 3 - 0, game two they took North Toronto 8 - 1.  In the first of three matchups against the Mississauga Majors they won 6 - 4.  The won 8 - 2 against Aurora and 6 - 2 against Tecumseh.  Their only loss of the tournament was a close 1 - 0 agasint the Majors who they met in the Championship and came out on top with a final 9 - 4 win for the title.
