Lambton Shores Preds lost in Shoot Out Against LaSalle

Lambton Shores earned a single point after losing 4 - 3 in shoot out at home against the LaSalle Vipers on Saturday night in Greater Ontario Jr B hockey league action.

 

LaSalle went up 2 - 0 after the first period/  Devon Paliani and Aaron Luchuk scored for the Vipers.

 

Rookie John Warren scored two goals in the second to tie the game.  Warren now has a total of five goals three assists for eight points and leads the team in points so far this season.

 

Early in the third period Brett Langlois scored on the power play to regain the Viper lead at 1:15.  Brendan Trottier scored his first goal of the season at 2:26 to tie the game once again.  Action continue and neither side scored sending the game into overtime.  No scoring in overtime and the game was sent to shoot out where LaSalle came out on top.

 

Trenton Michigan native Brett Avery made is first appearance in net for the Preds and made 35 saves.  Cameron Zanussi earned the win with 28 saves.

 

The Predators went one for five on the power play, LaSalle went one for eight.
