Sarnia Teams Compete at the 10th Annual Play On National Championships Beginning Today

Two Sarnia teams, the Sarnia Fishookers (Men's Elite) and Sarnia DMATB (Under 17) will be on Main Street in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia competing for the Redwood Cup at the 10th Annual Play On 4 on 4 National Street Hockey Championships starting today (September 26) through to Sunday September 28.
The Journey began in Sarnia at the Hiawatha 3 on 3 Tournament in April, the two teams then competed at London's Play On Tournament. The Men's team won their division and the U17 team were invited on a Wildcard after competing in London.
The Sarnia Fishookers members on the team include Sean Parker, Jason Teschke, Josh Teschke, Brent Sauve, Steve Farlow, Jeff Paulley and Jeff Drexler.
The team has been ranked 13th out of 31 teams by the National Program Director.

The U17 Sarnia DMATB team members include Joey Austin, Jake Romph, Colton Osborne, Kyle Smith, Patrick Nahmabin, Riley Eyre and Mark McLachlin.
The team has been ranked 12th out of 14 teams by the National Program Director.
