Croskery and Ramsay Toss 800 Triples

     Jordan Croskery and Dennis Ramsay had a superb day in their respective leagues as they tossed 800 triples in Lambton County Tenpin Association bowling action this week.
 

Twenty two year old Croskery fired 826 (279-269-278) in the RCAFA 403 Wing Mixed League at Hi-Way Bowl to record his first 800 plus triple. His previous highest series was 789 at Marcin Bowl. He was bowling on lanes 1 & 2 and rolled 29 out of a possible 36 strikes ending up 240 pins over average for three games.

Ramsay tossed 822 (277-279-266) in the Sunday Morning Men’s League at Marcin Bowl on lanes 13 & 14 to record his career 2nd 800 series. He rolled 30 strikes in his three games ending up 5 pins short of his previous high 827.

Fourteen year old Ben Lapointe was so close to recording his first 700 triple as he  bowled 699 (238-235-226) in the Youth Junior division at Hi-Way Bowl.

Rachel McGrath bowled 680 (235-223-222) in the 1046 Mixed League at Marcin Bowl to the record the ladies high triple of the week.

The Marcin Bowl Shoot Out took place on the difficult PBA United States Open oil pattern with 45 bowlers participating. Pam Marciniszyn defeated Kyle Skinner in the final game to win the tournament. In the Hi-Way Youth Junior Preps division, the girls’ main scores were Amber Watson 418 (155), Lyndsay Amerlinck 279 and MacKayla Beauvais 267 (115). The boys’ high hurlers were William LaFramboise 362 (132), Gavin Baillie 312, Brodie McKinley 312 (112) and Chad Crouse 303 (116).

In the Hi-Way Youth Bantams division, the girls’ notable scores were Tyleigh Winger 286 (103), Elsa McKinley 275 (99), Laurianne Tremblay 235 (99), Shaylyn Blake 198 and Tyleigh Winger’s 97 single.
