The Corunna Giants took a 10 - 6 win over Tecumseh in Sun Parlour Midget Baseball league action on Monday night at home playing at Courtright Park. 

The game gave the Giants some highs and lows as they took a 6 - 1  lead after the second inning scoring one run in the first and five in the second.  Tecumseh got on board scoring two runs in the third and the Giants added a single giving them a 7 - 2 lead.  Tecumseh narrowed the lead after scoring four runs in the fourth but the Giants held them back and went on and scored three in the sixth inning to finish the game.

Brett Farr pitched for four innings allowing no runs, no hits, walked three and struck out 6.  Kyle Smith earned the win pitching for three innings allowing five hits, walked three and struck out six.

In total the Giants had 8 hits and 0 errors.  Tecumseh had 5 hits and 4 errors.

At bat Jordan Pavey and Keenan Smith each had two hits and singles by Mark McLachlin, Devin Butler, Derek Williams and Jamie Devereaux.

The Giants are back at home Tuesday Aug 5 when they host Wyoming at Duggan Field in Corunna.  Game time 6:30 pm.
