The Sarnia Spirit U16 team defeated Waterloo B in WOYSL L3 soccer league play with a 2-1 score.
Katie Barwitzki and Kelly Hodgins scored the Spirit goals. It was a difficult contest as the Spirit had to play a man down for forty minutes in the second half. The referee gave a Spirit player two yellow cards in a span of two minutes which equals a red and an ejection. The team went into a defensive shell and managed the game to preserve the win.
