Bowling Scores for Week of Dec 20

 

         Mike Shephard, Doug Black, Pam Marciniszyn and Connor Smith rolled the high scores in Lambton County Tenpin Association bowling action this past week at Marcin Bowl. 

             Shephard fired 770 (245-264-258) in the Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League to record the week’s high triple.

              Black was one pin shy of perfection in his second game as he mowed down the first 11 strikes, only to be beaten by an uncooperative 10 pin after a solid pocket hit to record the week’s high single. He was participating in the Sunday Morning Men’s League on lanes 17 & 18 finishing the day with 758 (299- 103 pins over average – 244 – 170 pins over for three games).

              Marciniszyn wheeled 677 (266) in the Thursday Night Mixed League to record the ladies high triple.

            Smith tossed 660 (258) in the Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League to record the youth’s high triple.

             Marcin Bowl Shoot Out Four will be held on Tuesday January 6th at 6:30. Fellow bowlers, build up your courage over Christmas to try the next challenging PBA shoot which will be announced shortly.

             Larry Plumb rolled 767 (245-264-258) in Marcin Sunday Morning Men’s League competition.            In Marcin National Farmers Union Mixed League fun, Randy Raaymakers with 469 was the best lady bowler while Joe Simmons took care of the men’s main scores with 602 (222-225).

          In Airey Lanes Thursday Ladies Happy Hour League play, leading scores were Ashley Corr 435 (203), Adwina Whitsitt 433, Pat Morrow 429 (175) and Pat Taylor 166. Team standings are “Hot Dog” 87, Donkey Kong’s 83, Lamb Chops 78, Cow Patti’s 74, Rocking Horse 68 and Ditch Pig 66.

          In Marcin Sarnia Reserve Mixed League action, the men’s top scores were Greg Gray 615 (220-203), Brad George 585 (213-202) and Bill Smith 559 (237). The ladies’ were led by Jo Ellen Beveridge 563 (195), Cid Bearhart 511 (191) and Tina White’s 179 single.

         In Marcin Friday Night Mixed League activity, the women’s upper scores were Marnie McQueen 542 (209-180), Barb Montgomery 529 (187) and Barbara Heckley 459 (172). The men’s high scores were Dave Urban 603 (216-201), Dave Little 600 (219), Paul Heckley 544 (214) and Hamba Hambafeh 201.          In Marcin Sunday Morning Ladies League play, noted scores were Joy Timington 540 (191-194), Diane Reid 504 (212), Beth Scott 471 and Deb Jones 190. Team standings are Strikers 38, Alley-Oops 35, Banana Splitz 33, We’ve Been Framed 27, Pairs And Spares 26 and Head Pins 22.

        In Marcin St. Joe’s Mixed League action, the men’s high scores were Mike Pevec 628 (225-223), Joe Bourgeois 618 (213-254), Marcel Lajoie 615 (213), Jerry Brody 230, Mike Woodall 199, Rich Murphy 189 and Albert Verbeek 188. The women’s main scores were Stella Strand 492 (183) and Tonie Verbeek 464 (178).

        In Marcin Tuesday Afternoon Mixed League activity, the men’s upper scores were Rob Boss 624 (214-216), Tom Moran 609 (217-213), Roy Baker 549, Ben Lacasse 505 (230 – 108 pins over average), Rolly LeBlanc 205 and Richard Murphy 203. The ladies’ best scores were Lorraine Boss 524 (179-175), Julie Beaudoin 467 (173) and Sharon Seguin 457 (174). Team standings are Big Dipper 88, Sun 57, Milky Way 55, Earth 53, Pluto 50, Moon 50, Little Dipper 48 and Saturn 47.   

        In the Marcin SMAA Intermediate/Senior division, the ladies’ high scores were Rachel McGrath 513 (222) and Mikayla Durley 431 (152). The gents’ top scores were Brian Riberdy 559 (193-213), Joshua Trott 500 (191), Matt Disper 494 (200) and Lucas Pawley 178.

         In the Marcin SMAA Juniors division, the girls’ main scores were Morgan Pelkie 576 (217-213), Madison Kehler 135 and Hollie-Anne Jean 132. The boys’ high rollers were Jacob Bestard 503 (191), Aiden Osborn 451 (172), Ethan Boucher 412 (168), Grant Remes 155, Maximillian Michelucci 149 and Ryan Kameka 147.

        In the Marcin SMAA Preps division, leading scores were Kole Parkkila 353 (124), Cam Parkkila 344 (131), Emily Power 343 (119), Ryan Pinel 342 (140), Jordan Button 339 (121), Noah Gauthier 326, Patrick Gray 301 (127) and Braeden Scott’s 115 single.

       In the Marcin SMAA Senior Bantams division, the top scores belonged to Cecelia Rochon 205 (73), Mya Hanley 200 (78), Taylor Button 177 (71) and Olivia Quaid 124 (75).
