Sarnia Spirit U17's Indoor Soccer League Action

The Sarnia
Spirit U17's played two more
games in the LDYSL indoor U18
league this past weekend.
In game one, the Spirit defeated
Woodstock 9-0. Chloe Kennedy and
Katie Barwitski led the way with
three goals. Singles went to
Sophie McKelvie, Cassie Forte,
and Rayne Kellier. Cassidy
Edlington with the shutout.
In their second game, the Spirit
lost 3-2 to the league leading
Byron Blaze. The Spirit
started off slow being down 3-0
and scored two goals in the
second half but could not find
the back of the net to get the
result. The Spirit outshot the
Byron Team 24 -9.
The team is now tied with points
with Byron and both teams have
identical 8 wins and 2 loss
record. Byron is in first place
by goal average of two goals.
The Spirit will be playing in
the Scrooge Tournament in London
on January 2nd and return to
league action on January 11th
with two more league games.
