Sarnia Spirit U16 Feeling Pressure by Being in First

The Sarnia Spirit are feeling the pressure of being in first place in the U17 Division of the BMO Indoor Ladies Soccer League played in London.

After the weekend results, the Spirit find themselves ahead of the second place Middlesex United by one point with a game in hand in the eleven team league.

The team struggled to find the net in both games.

In weekend action, the Spirit defeated the London Portugese Thunder 1-0 on a goal by Kristy Hodgins. Cassidy Edlington earned the shutout. In game two, the Spirit tied the Southend Wildcats 1-1. Lauren Shaw scored the Spirit goal.

Next action is Feb 23rd against the Dorchester Dynamite followed by a game versus the Woodstock Rage.
