After the 8-1 loss on Friday night in London the Sarnia Sting bounced back and took a 6 - 2 win in Plymouth against he Whalers.
After a scoreless first period the Sting took a 3 - 1 lead in the second then the same number of goals were shared in the third.
Scoring for the Sting were Jimmy McDowell, Vladislav Kodola, Nikolas Latta, Davis Brown, Jeff King and Nikita Korostelev.
Carter Sandlak and Cianluca Curcuruto scored for Plymouth.
Plymouth outshot Sarnia 41-40. Taylor Dupuis earned the win in net for the Sting with 39 saves.
Sarnia scored two power play goals on six opportunities, the Whalers were given just one opportunity that they didn't capitalize on.
The Sting return to the ice today (Sunday Jan 26) when they host the Windsor Spitfires at 4:05 pm at the RBC Centre.
