Three teams from Huron Lakers played in the Darien Lake Amusement park , NY, Gus Macker 3 on 3 basketball tournament.
Mack Attack
Jessica Milne, Mackenzie Hacker, Ella Palumbo and Ainsley Mackenzie
Mack Attack finished in second place in the girls 10 and under division. The girls played very hard throughout the tournament losing only in the finals to a team from Welland Ontario.
Teighan Stoukas, Aliyah Shaw, Emerson Giresi and Jamison Turner
The Lil Lakers, the youngest team in the tournament, went winless but played well, earning the "toilet bowl" trophies. The girls played very feisty throughout the tournament having to take on girls 1-2 years older than some of the players.
The third team, The Thunder, played in the bigger and faster under 12 division, with three of the girls being only 10. The girls went 1-2 in the tournament, played tough but have difficulties with the size of the other opponents. Members on the Thunder team included Emily Vanhooft, Savanah Vanhooft, Avah Tsaprailis and Ryann Turner
