2014 - 15 GOJHL Regular Season Schedule Announced

Season starts September 8 in Kitchener
 

CAMBRIDGE, ON (July 31, 2014) – The Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (GOJHL) is pleased to announce the 2014-15 regular season schedule. Each of the GOJHL’s 27 teams will play a 49 game schedule with 24 home games, 24 away games and one neutral site game, part of the Sixth Annual Showcase Event. (Note: details and games for the 2014 Showcase Event will be announced shortly).

 

The Kitchener Dutchmen officially open the 2014-15 GOJHL season when they host the Brampton Bombers on September 8 at 7 p.m. at the Kitchener Auditorium.
 

The 2014 Sutherland Cup Champion Caledonia Corvairs begin defence of their title on home ice at the Haldimand Centre on September 13 at 7:30 p.m. against the Welland Jr. Canadians.

The Pirates, who moved from Port Colborne to Pelham in the off-season, play their first game as the Pelham Pirates on September 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Pelham Arena against the Ancaster Avalanche. The GOJHL looks forward to bringing exciting Junior B hockey to the community of Pelham.
 

The regular season concludes on February 22, 2015 with 5 games across the league.

About the GOJHL Established in the 2008-09 season, the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (GOJHL) is the largest league under the auspices of the Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) consisting of 27 teams in 3 conferences, the league is known as one the top development leagues in North America. GOJHL teams compete yearly for the Sutherland Cup Trophy. The GOJHL and Jr. B hockey in the OHA has been responsible for developing many players to top levels of hockey including the OHL, CIS, NCAA, Minor Pro, and the NHL.
