The Sarnia Beavers lost 20 - 9 against the Owen Sound North Stars in Owen Sound Sunday in Ontario Senior B Lacrosse.
 

Owen Sound scored 7 goals in the first, 9 in the second and 4 in the third.  Point Edward scored 2 in the first 3 in the second and tied the North Stars in the third with 4 goals.

Travis Gibbons and Rob Milnes scored 5 goals apiece for Owen Sound, Adam Jones added 4 and Spencer Elder, Dean Nixon, Derek Haylow, Zach Coulter, Robbie Moe and Drew Barfoot each contributed 1.

Colin McDowall scored 3 goals for the Beavers, Winter Dockstater scored 2 and Clint Lamarsh, Kyle Chiderhose, Michael Fleming and Chris Davey each scored 1.

Owen Sound outshot Sarnia 53 - 45.  Greg Krstic took the loss in net, Scott Komer earned the win for Owen Sound.

 

The Beavers are now 2 - 6 for the season.  Next weekend they have two games with the first on Friday June 13 in St. Catharines and return home on Saturday when they host the Brooklin Merchants.  Game time 7:00 pm at the Clearwater Arena.
